Here's my deal my 1995 E250 handicap van has 101,000 on it, just started idling real high now it's shifting hard and it has to to be at high rpm's to shift into a higher gear it's like the overdrive is gone.

Had the tps sensor changed that fixed the idel problem but but it's still shifting pretty hard any ideas why?

Possibly the shift modulator is at fault. Some are vacuum operated and some are electrical. Check for loose vacuum hose from the engine to the tranny or a disconnected electrical fitting.
