best computer prank?

what is the best computer prank that you have pulled or someone you knonw has pulled? i downloaded 2 little programs once, one opened any file of my choice every 1 minute, and the other opened the cd-rom drive. then i brought both into school, got onto the server, and set up every computer in the computer lab so the cd drives would open every minute. so every minute, alllll the cd drives in the room popped open. it only lasted 15 or so minutes before the teacher finally found out how to stop it. but it was worth it:)

Anyways, I dont like to mess with peoples computers, even if it is a harmless joke. What if after that harmless joke, the persons computer starts acting up. Say, at the same time, they happened to download a virus. Lets say that virus was a Level 4, malicious virus. It destroys there computer, and the need to format and start over. Who are they going to look at to blame? You. Why? because your harmless joke happened at the same time the computer went to shit. I dont want to be responsible for something like that.

on the other hand if you know its a clean virus then its funny as hell looking at their faces when it goes off.

But what if someone download an outside virus at about the same the prank was pulled?

Funny but harmless:
Take a snap shot of your victims desktop using print screen. Save it as a bitmap file or something. Delete all or most of what you can of the icons and shortcuts on their desktop, then set yout snap shot of their original desktop as the backround. They will click like mad on icons and the start menu and notheing will work! So simple, yet so effective!
