Greetings All!
Just after I checked to see where a moderate oil leak was coming from on my 98 Stratus, I discovered oil in my resevour tank! There was about a half inch on top of the anti-freeze. I then pulled the dip stick and found no water/anti-freeze mixed with oil.
My first thought was blown head gasket but usually anti-freeze enters the crank case not the opposite. Right?
If my problem is indeed the head gasket, will a compression test confirm my troubles? By the way, I had the system flushed and the oil came back.
Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

A compression test should tell you if your cylinders have been compromised. You get oil in the antifreeze one of two ways. Across a leaky head gasket or a slipped wrist pin or broken metal ring could have worn a groove through the cyclinder wall into the water jacket.

Has the engine overheated recently? because these engine heads tend to crack.

yeah, these cars are Fu#ked... my car leaks both oil and coolant.
especially oil in the winter....
still could be a leaky head gasket BTW.

also, if it was anything like a loose wrist pin, you most likely would of heard it wearing through your engine very noticably
