Have anyone ever done PCV valve change? It's hard to reach and disconnect the hose? Dose it need any special tool or to take out the manifold? Please reply anybody. Thanks.......

There is no PCV valve in the valve covers like on older vehicles.

It's between the idle air control valve and egr valve and is a pain to replace.

Bringing back another ancient thread. I just replaced the PCV on my 94 this morning and it basically involves unbolting the thing to the right of it on top of the intake mani, fighting the hose off of it, then getting a deep 3/4" socket on it the putting the ratchet on it with the ratchet facing to the passenger side of the van, then I pried up on the ratchet with the handle of my jack using the intake mani itself for leverage. Wish I had taken pics.
