hello i have an parking/emergency brake has stopped working a year or so ago and since i have an automatic i havn't really needed it and ive already tried the backing up trick and that is all i really know can any one give som advice

my emergency brake went bad and i jus tgot it take off

Typically the cables will rust and freeze up from lack of use. They also can become frayed from rubbing under the car chassis. You didn't state what exactly was going on. If it is stuck, you can spray it with WD-40 or PB Blaster and work it back and forth till it frees itself up. If it is broken, a new cable is in your future if you want it.
