Light problem - tail lights and dash lights not working!

I have a 98 Expedition 5.4L and one day I noticed my dash and stereo button lights were not working. I tried all the switches to turn them on but no luck. Then my friend pointed out my tail lights didn't come on either, just the brake lights. I was thinking blown fuse but they all appear ok. Anyone have any ideas???
