Need reference picture of new Integra Type R

So I'm building the new Integra Type R and the Fujimi instructions tell me to paint the headlight section silver. I've seen a few pics of the headlights and they are definitely not silver. Unfortunately, the pics were not detailed enough so I'm having trouble figuring out how to paint them. If anyone has any high res images of the headlights, that would be great. This is the best image I could find:

From this I'd say black for the most part except for the lamps themselves which would be silver.

Give us a full report when you're done, alot of people will be wanting to know what the molding is like on that kit.

A dark gunmetal would be better.

Gunmetal would look nice, but gunmetal has a slight glitter in it(whatever you call it) , and semi gloss black would look more accurate, it's up to max power, how ever he wan't to build it;)

Modelmaster Gunmetal Metalizer is good. The metallic grain is not obvious and it comes out as a nice "metally without grainy" surface (huh??? :finger: ). It's lacquer though, so can be nasty.

Though now I do agree that semi-gloss black would look the best :frog:

:smoker: same here, but if you can find a dark smoke color that would look REAL good:licker:

Will do, but didn't Pman build this model already and didn't he have a thread on it?

As for the color of the housing, I think I will go with semi-gloss black. I have a bottle of Tamiya smoke, but it's translucent, so whatever color is underneath it shows through. I'd have to do a little fiddling to figure out what to use underneath it that would work well.

i see the housings in real life, daily, and semi gloss black would be best. you could leave them chrome if you want. the black housing is for the type R and the chrome ones are for the rest. if you decide to leave it chrome, don't put type R decals on the teg.
