Does anyone know whether I can swap my non tach instrument cluster on my 91 Tracker for one with without major difficulty or do I have to swap wiring harness and attach the tach..somewhere? Thanks for any help with this question.

I have a '93 Geo Metro and a '93 Geo tracker (wife's).

I swapped the Dashboard Gauge Assembly in my Metro for one with a Tach.

The wiring on the Metro was set up for either when it was made in Canada.

That is - the plugs work with either....

So, I'd bet that if you find a Tach dashboard Gauge Unit for that year or the
years that are the same, that it will work just fine!

Just make sure that it is made for an engine with the same number of cylinders as yours
(do Trackers have different engines?)

My wife's '93 has a Tach. A Tach is probably an OPTION when you buy the vehicle.
The wiring works for all combinations.

Nowadays, they consider tires, seats, a windshield "options"...! lol

In summary - yes - I'd bet you can swap gauge assemblies for that year.

I bought mine on-line for $80.....the trip meter doesn't work tho - DAMN!
