Check fuses, I doubt the fuel pump went bad. They usally only go bad when you first start the car. Check all the wiring and test out everything.

I hate to sound like an ass, but did you check the connections on the rear of the tank in front of the rear bumper?

You positive the problem is that your pump is cutting out? Or are you just experencing some kind of fuel loss that could be due to a leaky connecting or bad fuel rail/injector seal. Check all four injectors, fuel filter connections, fuel lines. Only do this after you check the connections on the back of the tank tho lol.

yes, check simple things first.
like check the fuses hanging off the battery terminal. I know when I....
ok...regretably....
put a nEoN KiT:nono: on my car, I drilled a screw into the fuel power line, which made the line short out and blow the fuse, so the fuel pump wasnt getting power.

Unless you tell us what car you have we cant help you.
All of your fuses are in the fuse boxes, just look on the covers and find out which one it it.
