weird turbo noise

yeah so im driving and its been happening daily....when i start reving high, usually in the 4-6 rpms i hear a squealing noise, almost like theres a cat in my engine bay or something and its not letting me boost past
5-6 pounds and its gettting really annoying...any one had this problem?....i have a greddy kit on my 99 sohc vtec intercooled

remove the turbo and have a qualified tech disassemble and inspect the turbine. sounds like either the bearings are all coked up/seizin, or the impeller is contacting the compressor housing.

also make sure your oil line isn't clogged.

I bet you money that your CAT is clogged. Same thing happened to me and soon you won't be able to boost at all.
