1997 Continental Engine Code Issue P0133 & P1131

I have an intermittent "Service Engine Soon" light.

We don't drive this car much and it goes out after a long highway drive (40 miles or so) but will come right back on as soon as you shut down and re-start the car.

I took it to Autozone and they recorded the following 2 codes:

P0133: HO2S-11 slow response (heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1)

Probable causes:
1. Oxygen sensor defective
2. Fuel System running rich or lean. Check other codes first.

P1131: Lack of bank 1 02 transitions - lean.

Probable causes:
1. Misfire on bank 1
2. Vacuum leak affecting bank 1 only
3. Fuel injector problem bank 1
4. Engine mechanical condition

I think I have a bad O2 sensor but I want to make sure before I spend $65 on a part I don't need

Does anyone have experience with this issue?
