Anyone know the correct way to check the Module that is located on the outside of the Blower Housing in the engine compartment.
I think it may be bad due to the 30A HVAC fuse in the fuse block on left inner fender keeps blowing.
Any other way to check WHY the fuse keeps blowing?
ANY help is appreciated.:banghead:

I'd suspect the motor has a short, although usually the motors just sieze up.
If not that then it's the switch.

Pappyl,
Thanks for the reply.
I checked the motor, all is fine, also checked the switch and thermostat on the control panel on the dash and all there is ok too.
I'm trying to save $150 to replace the module in question.
The way my luck runs it's probably not the module, you know Murphy's Law.

Ah that figures :(
Well, since it's blowing a fuse you must have a power going to ground somewhere.
The main junction through the firewall is on the passenger side under the a/c.
Did you direct connect the motor with a fused patch line to test it?
