Hi kids! I just picked up a 6.5 inch lcd monitor and a tiny dvd player for my 5th gen civic sedan. I am thinkin the dvd player is goin in the glove box, but I am stumped on where to put the monitor. I am thinkin in the passenger side dash, but there are curves and it wouldnt be flush. Any suggestions for me?

At 40, do you know where I could mount a 6.5 inch LCD monitor in a 5th gen Civic?

haha, gotcha there, I think:D
You could use a swivel mount and attach it to the side of the headunit, the dash, slightly under the dash, tons of places. Of course that won't look all that good but hey, it's an option.

Where can I find some mounting brackets, or a swivel arm, or anything like that? The main problem is the stuff I got is super ghetto-fied. :bloated: But it was cheap!:D So I would like to do a quality install job to make up for the lack of quality in the product. I would love to cut a whole in the dash, rig the monitor in there, and fill the gaps in with some fiberglass, or plastic or somthing. Anybody who has done this?

You can find brackets and stuff like that at your local auto-sound shop. Stuff like that isn't worth buying over the net unless you just don't have a mobile-sound place anywhere near you.
Also, I haven't done what you said, but it sounds pretty straightforward. Just...Cut a hole in the dash, mount the monitor, and fill in the gaps with fiberglass:D Just make sure about what it is you're cutting first, hehe.
