2000 LaSabre Parking light change?

A parking light bulb in the truck deck lid has burned out. How do I go about replacing it? There are I believe the three bolts that hold the light fixture to the deck. I would assume I have to remove the whole fixture to change it.

You are correct. Remove the three nuts and the fixture can be removed to a point. The bulb wires will not allow complete removal unless you disconnect them, but do allow enough movement to replace a burnt out bulb.
