Hi! I want to bulid a Jetta from Golf mk2. Impossible? Not for me :grinyes:

This is the kind of conversion I dream to do, transform a Golf into a Jetta (any generation) or into a Caddy. Will follow your thread very carefully and hope will be inspiring for me.

I totally agree, Looks freakin awesome. One question, what did you use to creat the rear end? Styrene, and the stock mk2 golf rear?

The front lights, and grill look super clean. Keep us updated.

Please don't be like me, and start really good builds, then put them back into the box never to be seen again. This model NEEDS to be built. and prepare yourself for resin casters to be knocking on your door.....then answer the door! I want one too!!!!

And i have a question...
How you make the front, and rear lights?

Rear lights will be from transparent plastic 2 mm
Front lights from transparent plastic 0,5 mm

At photo is mk3 bburago transfer to mk3 cabrio... im doing it with my friend-he's learning car modeling.

God,I feel so happy I'm not the only one that is trying to make a Sedan/Coupé from a Hatchback... :D

you've made great progress with this. i see youve already scribed the continuation of the contour into the putty. once you think it is near perfect, show is the fully primer body!

I dunno if it's just me or what, but it seems to me like something in the rear end is too long. The quarter window seems a bit long. Maybe I'm just on crack. But overall you've done an amazing job. Great work!!

Only the rear window seems to large for me, on 2 doors Jetta Coupé it wasn't that big IMO.

Seems to me that you should cut it something like what I have highlighted in red and just slide that back bit forward a little. Maybe not as much as what I highlighted, but something about that rear end does seem a little off to me. Otherwise it's looking great!!! You've dona an excelent job so far!!
