Got beat but its ok

I'm heading home from work this afternoon trying to hurry up because the girlfriend was waiting. Going down the road just cruising along when I saw a late 2000 civic hatch. Now all I saw from the start was an exhaust and didn't think much. Headed through a town where the speedlimit drops to 35 and he kept getting up to me then droping back. Finaly we got a light. He kinda reved and it sounded nice. A lot better than most around here. We went from the light getting to a 15 roll and we mashed it. He stayed with me and as we came on traffic we had to slow down. Luckily we caught the next light. I rolled down my window and asked what he had done. He reved up for me and I heard it. TURBO. Now I was excited and said lets go again. We went from 15 again. We were dead even through first, second but at third he pulled a fender on me. Once again we had to stop. So much fun. Didn't expect it but fun. Came to find out he was runing 10 psi which made sense. I lost but that's ok. Still had a smile.

nice run... I have been beaten twice in the last few weeks by turboed civics.. I got both of them out of the hole to about 70ish were they proceeded to pass with little problems..

Both cars looked nice and only one was a "ricer". He had to throw on his hazards after passing me. It was a young ass punk. I'm hoping to see him here in a couple hours at the last t&t of the season... I'm pretty sure I'm going to smack him in his face in front of all his friends. Give him a little lesson...

Sounds like a plan. I nevewr ran into a turbo civic. Heard about them. Seen them in magazines but never seen one and for sure never raced one. I would really like to run into him again and see what happens from the hole shot.
