My '07 Suburban has automatic headlights. The photocell on the dash does not gather enough light in the first and last couple hours of the day to make the dashlights/console lights fully bright, and it cannot be overridden manually (as it could be on the last Suburban design) to make them bright.
So, that means on a fully sunlit morning, when you put sunglasses on, the console lights are completely washed out by the bright sun and the sunglasses. (I can fool the photocell by shining a light on it, that'll pop the console lights up to the daytime "bright" mode until shortly after I take the flashlight away).:banghead:
Anybody have any ideas how to fix? Thanks. Trojan
