This will be my new project.

The Revell Uptown series Dodge Charger SRT-8.

and this is what's inside the box:

Nice decals, I think I'll use the black striping.

I cutted out the front bumper and the hood-intake is opened. I removed all molding lines and primered the body.

I'll paint it metallic bourdeaux red. The interior will be stock and painted in sand colour with black details.

A couple of days I painted some details on the chassis. It's not finished and I need to wheater it.

I also paint the body today with Motip Bourdeaux Red. 3 layers were enough. It will be clearcoated next week.

This looks nice so far, I like your color choice, but the stock wheels look a bit oversized to me (I know that was in the box, it's not you).

I'm doing the Testors Charger now, so I'm curious what is the quality of this Revell one?

Yeah and the wheelarches are too big for other aftermarket wheels, so I'm using the kitwheels.

The quality is very nice. Not many parts but I like the options you can choose. First it had to be a Die-cast model but later it went a plastic kit so the hinges and other parts are like a diecast.

It looks better with aftermarket wheels:

:1: Some wheels that actually fit the car will make it look MUCH better!!

Yeah they look very nice but i'm not gonna order more wheels at the moment because I already have 25+ aftermarket wheels. Maybe I can change this wheels for the other wheels which came into this kit....

Last days I worked on the chassis and I finished it today.
I drilled out the holes in the discbrakes and wheaterd the whole chassis.

and the wheels on their place
http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/decal_003.jpg

With a polish-stick with 3 different sort of grid, I sanded/polished the whole body to get a smooth surface. Than I polished it with Tamiya compound and what I saw was a really nice deep shine. But I didn't use any clearcoat. The next day I sprayed one layer clearcoat and the next day I aplied the decals.
Yesterday I clearcoated all parts with two layers and this is the result so far:

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/decal_010.jpg

When the paint is hard enough I will polish it again for more shine 8)

I also started the interior.

I used as main colour matt ocker and I used some lightcoloured interiorflocking.

The next days I'll continue with the interior and there's an 'engine' that needs to be painted.

Last days I have worked a lot on this car.

I finished the interior.

Doorpanels. The black area is much better in real life btw.
http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bijna_klaar_%282%29.jpg

The dash. I painted the steering wheel in black and the center of it is chrome. The black paint shines into the chrome so it looks like a bad painted steeringwheel :-?
http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bijna_klaar_%283%29.jpg

Also completed the ICE in the thrunk

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bijna_klaar_%285%29.jpg

The chrome wheels are gone. I used the other wheels which came into the kit and I painted the spokes and bolts in black.
http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/bijna_klaar_%286%29.jpg

I polished the body and after that I added all parts and details on it.

Used a custom grille and you can see the mesh behind the bumperhole

The Hemi engine is also ready and placed on the body.

And a dryfit:

The wheels look awesome, but just like Midmazar said, you could cut out the fenders to make it sit a little lower...and switch the tires for a lower profile ones...
But it looks great!!
