secondary air injection

Hi, i hav 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. my obd2 code reader, came up with p0410 - secondary air injection system malfunction. I looked under neath near air pump. I have a hose disconnected, where does these hoses or hose go to? i believe is the hose on right side of pump

If it has a "performance" exhasit system, probably the catalytic converter as most people put 'off road' converters on ( if they put one on at all :disappoin: ) wich renders the dump to cat function prctically useless but I wouldn't think it to trip a code. Can you hear the check valves clicking away? (sounds sorta like a dying lifter at best) and chick the fuse.
