k so here is a good question i think, Ive heard that you need a mass floww translator or something like that to get a new BOV because if you use a new BOV it could mess with your computer in the car I really dont get it because im pretty new to the DSM scene but im willing to learn enything. If there is anything else Isould know about DSM's please inform me so i dont hurt mine lol:confused:

It's a good idea to get the GM maf and translator if you plan on venting your BOV. You lose a little bit of metered air and run a little rougher at idle. You would be able to recirculate any BOV and not have to buy the GM MAF and translator.

I heard the same thing, but i also heard that some cars dont like to vent at all, my car drove fine when i was venting it, no funny idle or stalling when shifting to N. I know it was running rich but i'm just saying it didnt look like it wanted to stall or something.

Depends on the car, some run fine with venting and some run like shit. Do us all a favor and just recirculate.

There is a hose that connects from the BOV outlet to back to the intake pipe. This is what they mean "recirculate" the air bc the released air is put back into the intake.

When you "vent" the released air is blown off into the air and doesn't go back into the intake, problem with this is that that air is already counted by the computer and has provided enough fuel for it. So when you release that air you run rich bc that fuel is still being put into the motor.
