vibration

I just bought a 2007 Pontiac Wave. I am getting a vibration between 90 and 100 km/hr while in 5th gear. The vibration can be felt threw the steering wheel along with the gas pedal and if you are a passenger you can ferll it also.
I just came back from the dealer who told me it was the engine RPM. I think this is funny because I owned a small car with a small engine and never had this problem. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem or is just that I made a bad choice in buying a small vehicle from pontiac.

I own an earlier model, 2005. I never noticed anything like that. Take it up with the retailer you bought it from?

It should be easy to tell if it is "engine rpm" or not.
Does the vibration occur with the car coasting in neutral and engine at low rpm at the same speed?
If yes, then probably related to a tire out of balance, defective/broken tire belt, or remotely possible out of balance or untrue brake rotor/drum.
If no, then is the vibration dependent on what gear the car is in, whether you are accelerating or decelerating? Could be drive-train related.
