The car starts fine if you jump the car from the battery to the starter but by turning the key and pressing clutch I get nothing. its a 95 GSX, It has a new starter, new battery, and new cables. I think it is either clutch start switch or starter relay. I can check the clutch start switch by just unplugging it but what about the starter relay where is it on this car.

It is behind the radio. There should be 2 relays back there, the one on the left is for the door locks and the right one is the starter relay.

Its should be on the right side. But looks like its the smaller relay.

My relays are backwards the starter relay(smaller relay) is on the left and door lock on the right, I put a new starter relay in and it still does not start. If I take out the relay and take the top left terminal of the connector and bridge it to the bottom right terminal it will start with the key but by putting the new relay in, it won't start. Is there something Im missing or forgetting to do? So now I have a new Starter, new battery, new cables and new relay, but still no starting!!!

Check your clutch switch. By jumping across the connector, you went right from the ignition hot wire to the starter wire, which is why it would start. The only other wire that runs to the relay is the clutch switch, which is connected to the hot wire from the ignition.
Disconnect clutch pedal position switch. Clutch pedal position switch connector is located at clutch pedal. Depress and release clutch pedal position switch. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between clutch pedal position switch terminals. If continuity exists with clutch pedal position switch depressed and does not exist with switch released, switch is okay. Replace if necessary.

Was there a previous owner of the car? Sound like there was some wiring work done. But, you did say you got a new relay right?
