Some videos from YouTube. There's more than this, but I just picked a few. Search for 'taig' or 'sherline' and you'll find several to go through. Some quick links:

Leadscrew cover for your Sherline Mill (could be adapted for anything)

Sherline table saw attachment (this one I'm going to take a shot at making for myself......)

Gear Cutting (7 parts - very detailed for the inquiring minds...)

Homemade Form Tool (2 parts - another one I need to try)

SuperGlue Chuck (interesting approach...)

Gasket Punch (could be used on plastic I guess...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsOFl3stACc

Drilling an orifice on a lathe (very useful for those about to drill with teeny tiny drill bits....)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6-4oyIoku4

Crossslide Clamp (I don't totally understand this one, but I'm guessing it might be handy for those using a milling column on the lathe?)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqKUPWrRVDk

Home Made Depth Gauge (another little project I think I'll try myself...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ceg7dxq1NQM

Hand Turning with a Graver and Tool Rest
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr6sCnE-NsE

Cross Slide Accessory Block (looks handy for drilling holes in rod)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRcGfni70CI

A really neat video of a Taig CNC mill turning bushings. I realize my inexperience is showing here, but this is cool.... So much for quick-change tool-posts...

CNC Mill doing some work (with 4th axis).

Wow I see quite a few missing fingers in somebodies future with that table saw attachment and the drilling the orifice one too. I think it is neccesary to point out that safety should be the most important thing when using a lathe or mill. I am a mechanic everyday and can't stress enough to never stick your fingers (or clothing) near something that is spinning like that. Great videos Murray, thanks for sharing, some great ideas there.

Wow Murray, great stuff. Thanks for putting together the list. Don't know about you guys, but watching them made me want to rush out and buy a Sherline lathe- and I already have one. :runaround:

Have to agree with Mike about the tablesaw one. That drive dog looks like a magnificent way to break a finger (or worse). :uhoh: But that aside, there are some very useful ideas here.

The Cross Slide Accessory Block is terrific- why didn't I think of that??!! I need to order some 1 1/2" bar stock....
