Rear Window Wash Help

Couple of issues with the rear wiper/wash.The washer pump runs the whole time the rear wiper runs,and I noticed that the washer nozzle on the back door is broken on the inside,so all the fluid runs down inside the door.Is there anyway to remove this from the door and replace it?

I replaced the rear wiper switch,and the washer pump,but the pump still runs the whole time the rear wiper is on.Anyone have any ideas other than replacing the rear wiper motor?I have one but I don't think that will solve it.

Looking at my '99:
If you look at the diagram, the obvious way for the pump to run everytime when the wiper is on is for the switch to be defective (it does have delay electronics). Since you replaced that, the wiper motor is your next best guess. Unless there is a strong short in the wiring, the power to run the pump motor has to be feeding back from the 'park' circuit of the wiper motor.

Never saw this happen myself, but there's always the first time. To be sure, disconnect the switch, use a test lamp or meter to see if you have connection between pins 6 & 8 of the switch connector.
I do hope you were able to find and fix that hose leak you mentioned before!

Well I was checking what you told me to and I didn't have voltage between pins 6 and 8 while it was unplugged.I even checked to see if all the wires were in their proper numbered locations,everything seems to have checked out fine....maybe I'll try another switch...never know.

your probably gonna have to pop the door panel off to get to the hose. it has the same clips that the other doors .on mine the rear wash/wiper switch is on the dash and sounds like the switch has a short in it letting the washer run with the wiper.
