I just bought a used '01 aztek. When trying to play a few cd's i've burned, the cd player just clicks a few times, and ejects the cd. A message on the led displays "check CD". Any normal CD works great. is this a known problem? If not, any suggestions as to what i can do ?

Welcome to AF!
I've come across this issue before and the problem may not be directly related to your vehicle's cd player. I researched this in the past to help a friend with a similar problem, and had come across this site:http://www.andybrain.com/archive/mb/burned_cd_in_car_player.htm. Luckily I had it saved for future reference. Maybe it could give you more info to troubleshoot the issue.
