Heres my first attempt at the drinking straw exhaust. Thanks RyanGiorgio for the instructions (I think it was you?). I put it on a RX7 Diecast for Display. All I did to the model itself is lower it. What do you think of the exhaust? I did it a little diff. though. if you want instructions on how i did it just let me know. :flash:

looks nice..

i worry about building drinking straw exhausts because they are too flexible.

are they still soft after painting?

if u dont wont them flimsy build them they way i do and use a pin top with a drinking straw inside it. it works great for me.

i filled the whole straw with clay so it wouldnt be flimsy then just stuck the smaller end in the clay in the big end

wow thats probably the best drinking straw exhaust ive yet to see, what kind of straws did you use for this?

The big one is from Long John Silvers b/c I could'nt find a big one around my house. The small one is a flexible topped one that you get in packs at the grocery store. I think the key was the paint. It is Plastikote Chrome silver.
