heating problems

when my van is in motion (at least 30 mph) the heat blows out of the vents but when the van is stopped cold air is blown out of the vents. any ideas?

Check your radiator coolant level at the radiator WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD to prevent hot coolant from burning you. You will probably find the level low.
