This was a quick build with nothing special, except for some Scale Motorsport Kevlar decals in the interior and Bare Metal Foil for the engine bay heat shielding and the headlamp buckets. The kit went together very well with the exception of the rear hatch and window. I removed the alignment pins towards the rear of the body because when they were aligned, the rear hatch would have been about 1-2mm too long for the chassis. I think this is a common error in this kit. the rear hatch still doesn't fit properly, however it is a huge improvement. I also cut open the vents on the rear quarter panels with the back of a hobby knife. The body was primed with Tamiya white primer, and sprayed with TS-8 straight out of the can. It has some orange peel, but this is fine since the actual car didn't exactly have a mirror finish. Since I can't paint trim, I cut up some spare Brabham BT50 sidepod decals, which are a solid dark blue, and applied them over the trim lines surrounding the body. I thought they looked too thick at first, but after looking at the pictures it isn't that bad. Enjoy :)

Very nice. Even after 20 years it's still one of my favorite cars.

Very sharp build!
But one thing to think about is that ugly flange Tamiya puts on the inside of their rims. Just saw it off and the rear wheels will look a million times better, especially as the are very visible with the rear hatch open.
I always do that, both front and rear on my Tamiya cars.
Thank's for the peek on your gorgeous Ferrari.

Looks great, congrats on the build.
One suggestion might be to color the headlights and rear hatch edges with marker, or something to add some realism.
Great build nonetheless.
