You only have a few choices for a leaky GM automatic, diagnosis requires crawling under the car. Most likely is the front seal, which may indicate a leaking front pump. Letting it go may do more damage to the pump and torque converter. Then there is the rear seal, this is where the driveshaft goes in. You might take a shot at replacing it. Another place to look is to see if the dipstick tube has somehow pulled out, very remote though. You could have a pan leak, but those are not common unless the pan has a hole in it.

just got it back and turns out it was a pressure switch.
aparently gm thought it was a good idea at the time, but it was a part that only lasted 2 years or so before gm decided it want a good idea after all.
$57 and it was done
