'95 Q. Possible to lubricate wiper mechanism?

I have a '95 Quest with something goofy in the wiper motor or elsewhere in the mechanism: the wipers work, but they're much slower than they should be, and the mechanism itself makes a lot of noise. Sometimes it starts out quietly, but then after a very short time it starts its whining.

I though that rather then spring for a hugely expensive repair I'd try to limp along by lubricating it well. But I can't seem to locate exactly where that needs to be done.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this? (Or what may be wrong?)
