Recently a friend of mine broke off the antenna of his car. It broke off right at the bottom of the antenna and we were wondering if this is easily fixable?

Welcome to AF.
Sorry I moved your thread to its proper place.
Where did it break exactly?
If it broke outside, and the nut part (http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/xeroinfinity/AUTOMOBILES/ant_out.jpg)is there it just screws off.
If the entire part needs replaced its mounted in the trunk (http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/xeroinfinity/AUTOMOBILES/ant_mount.jpg).
Hope that helps.

I own a 2000 pontiac grand am and the same happened to me. My antenna broke right at the base where you would screw it off and on. So there is no way to unscrew it.:frown:
