I'm in love. (http://www.posracing.net/POSMightymax.html) This thing is incredibly clean. Can't wait until it's rocking a built auto, 6 bolt, EVO9 turbo, and DSMlink.

Dam dude, you have insurance for all this cars ?

Insurance for cars with little to no value is not even worth thinking about. I'll bet this one costs me 40 bucks a month. Despite MA state troopers trying to profile me as a balding 30 year old "street racer," my record isn't too bad. Only about 2 items in the last 6 years now. I think I only pay ~150 a month for the EVO for full coverage. The diesel is only about 50 a month too.
Goal for this one. Well, the singly is getting replaced by a Dually, to pull the RWD. The MightyMax is going to replace the EVO as my fun street/strip car. When I don't feel like dealing with the RWD and all of it's difficulties, I can just blast up to the track in the MM and have some good old fashioned fun. It's getting about the same setup that went 12.0 in the EVO. EVO 8-9 turbo, DSMlink, etc. I'm hoping to get enough traction through proper suspension tuning and tire selection to take advantage of this thing's super low weight (~2600 lbs?) and get it into the 11s. Basically just a fun street/strip car that the cops won't even notice, and thieves won't bother with. :)

So is the evo going bye bye?

Yes, EVO's already parted out to a high 12 second car. As soon as I can pull the FMIC off and reflash the ECU it goes up for sale.

Already went 11.50 in it, don't want to cut it up for a cage, and I want to try something new. The EVO was a real learning experience. I'm now comfortable running nitrous, I've become very proficient with AEM EMS, got to be the first person to test an EVO Green/20gLT for airflow curves (with DSMlink), got to run a few custom EVO DSMlink chips, etc. Not to mention I ran it at the track every week for three seasons without a single breakage. The old girl did well, and I'll miss it, but it's time for the next project. ;)

Damn dude! Good to see ya going to a new project, have fun. Is it getting a built GM tranny or are you going to try to have that MM tranny built?

LMAO, I've thought about it for years now. When it really comes down to it though, I hate cars. ;)
Tranny will be a built 4 speed auto. Pretty set on a TH200R4. I'm hoping the taller 1st gear helps traction a bit, the rest of the spacing is pretty good if I run a Montero 4.64 rear end gear, it can easily handle the torque a 4 banger makes, lighter than a 700r4, etc. The MM trannies are a lost cause IMO. Even if you get into swapping in starion internals and all that, it's still going to break eventually and now you've just smoked a MM and Starion tranny that could have been put to better use in a stock car/truck. Basically what I'm looking for is the bullet proof drivetrain of the RWD talon but in a daily driver. I want to race the balls off this thing all season long and not have to do any major repairs on it. ;) Since I'm planning to 4 link it later on, I'll probably swap in a GM rear axle too. So, strong trans and rear end, plus on clutch to wear out, should provide good durability. And I've run several manual valve body GM transmissions in previous cars, it's a good time. Though I may retain the automatic shifting in Drive with this one so I can tool around sippin on my biggie coke.
