2000 Jeep Wrangler Not Starting

When i go to start the jeep sometimes it will start but lately its been giving me problems. When i turn the key to the on position all the lights on the dash turn on and off like normall, so i know the battery is ok but when i go to start it, it wont do nothing. I thought it was the nuetral safety switch but i put a fuse in the fuse box to bypass having to use the clutch but didn't help. I dont know why it is doing this. I thought maybe the key was worn out but it seems ok. Like i said sometimes i turn the key and it will start and run fine but most of the time it wont turn on or do nothing. Any help would be great.
