Rear Speaker Pods

I grabbed rear speaker pods off a buddy but i think their not the right ones.

does anyone have a link to an actual pic of the pod? i know Eric had those pods for sale but i cant find the pic..

Is it off from a rex? Im gonna get my friends speaker pods of his broken down rex. They are for the 6 by 9s:)

yeah thats the the right ones for a hatch, i didnt know the rexs had 6x9s for the back speakers...

Well i guess they do cause my boys crx DX came with it? It had no speakers in the back but it did came with the 6 by 9 pod.

I'm pretty sure CRXs don't have 6x9's in the back, but then again, I haven't actually checked.

so im assuming i have to drill holes to where i want the pods to stay?

i dont think that you can use those on a rex

Like i said it came with it but im not sure if they come like that originally. Either way it fits perfectly cause its made for a rex.

I personally have done sound system installs on 4 CRX's and have never personally seen a stock 6x9 speaker pod for them.
Now I have cut the 6.5 speaker bracket in such a way as to fit 6x9's in there, which is not hard to do at all.

As for the Civic rear speaker pods.. I made my own :D
Instead of paying out the arse on ebay, I just measured off and cut me a little hole for my speakers where the speaker pods are 'supposed to' go. Works fine :coolguy:

no prob ami!!!

i just installed the pods and some new speakers Pioneer TSA1661 6 1/2"s and i have to say they sound pretty good!

4 speakers sound way better than 2;)
