2001 breakes

I had to replace the brakes front and back also the front rotors, before I got to do this the front breaks were grinding and the night before the indicator came on for low fluid.

There is brake fluid in the resivior

any ideas why the break pedal is so soft and not hard to press like it was I did not disconnect ant of the lines.

if I need to do something and you have the procedure can you include it.
