This is for my brother he has a 95 3.0 auto. On this car it seems to ide rough most of the time. It will run fine every once in awhile. My brother thought it was only when it was near empty but not the case. At any rate like 70 % of the time he has to drive with two feet becouse it will stalll. Other times its just real rough running about to stall but it won't. we did the self test and (KOEO) was 111 system pass right? and (KOER) we got a three just a three. Thats what i get sometimes in my SHO. I thought maybe 111 for the (KOER) test but either the light blinks faster when the car is running or it was a 3 at any rate no C.E. light is lit and we didn't get any codes he replaced the Ide control valve and no diffrence. I told him I would ask here to see if any one could help. I have a bunch of codes Foor my SHO i need help with but ill ask in a diffrent Thread. Any ideas ????

Check to see if the EGR valve is working properly. Also, verify that all the air intake hoses are properly connected. Have you/him checked the distributor cap and rotor? What about plug wires? When was the last time the car had a tune up?

What is a Ide, or were you talking about an IAC? The problem that you are talking about is common to a dirty MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. If you take the MAF off and look in it, you will see two wires in there. Sometimes those get dirt or dust on them and cause a problem at Idle. To clean them, use electrical contact cleaner.

Ok...sorry (IDLE) lol Ill have check the EGR Valve. He did the plugs fuel filter. But did not do the wires. (I don't think ill ask him). He did have a vacum leak but it was fixed. MAF sensor isn't like mine. Mine has a screen and his only has the 2 wires I will try to clean them and see if it makes a diffrence. One of the kids at his work said maybe the O2 sensore is faulty but just working enough to NOT to light the C.E. light??? I told him I think it would light the C.E. light if the O2 sensor wasn't working right at all...ill let you know how we make out.......thanks guys

Actually both MAF sensors are pretty much the same, yours just has a screen and his doesn't.
