its SOOO easy!!
go to an autopart store,or best buy something like that and ask for a stereo puller for a ford.. you get 2 little metal rods that go into the 4 little holes around the stereo push them in til you hear it click and pull it out...should take 5 min...

Just a quick question, what are the speaker sizes front and rear? (in the Sedan, although i assume they are the same across the entire model range)

another quick question.... I bought a install kit from Wal Mart for my cd player ... its a SCOSCHE FCJ1276AF the manual says nothin about a '00 Focus.. will this work?
says its for '74&up Ford/Chrysler/Jeep but focus isnt on the list
should I return it and get a diff one?? thx in advance to anyone who can answer this.... CHEERS

they are 6x8's, i wouldnt buy an install kit unless it says it for the focus.
you will most likely need an antenna adapter also
