I have a 1992 ranger that leaks fuel if over a half tank full. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, but not on a Ranger, on a F-150. In my case the tank had rusted thru under a mounting strap.

No, but my Ranger (1990) had a tank so new the shipping label hadn't worn off the tank yet, and I got it about four months ago.

If it's a metal tank and you can locate the source of the leak, you could try epoxying it. It might not be absolutely recommended, but it's been known to work. Just make sure the area is cleaned of any rust, etc.

Good luck!

You'll need to drop your tank and find out where the hole is and how bad it is. We can determine your options from there. I have an 88 Ranger that had a hole rubbed in the gas tank. It was minor enough that I was able to repair it with a piece of sheet metal and some JB Weld. I really just depends on where and how big your hole is and what caused it (ie...chaffing or rust).
