motor mount

i need help on replacing the drivers side motor mount on a 1989 s10 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 engine. i can't hardly see the thing. thanks

Both the mount and the bracket must be removed to replace the motor mount. Not a fun job, even on a hoist.

what all has to be removed to get to it

Raise and support the engine, remove the bolts from the block and the frame, then remove the mount and bracket together.
