Whats up guys.. posting on here again..
my 94 lesabre is acting up again..
same thing..
seems to be getting worse..
I had a problem about 3 weeks ago when the car would lose power and wanna turn off whenver.. then i replaced the fuel filter and it was dirty.. replaced it.. and it ran good for 3 weeks...
Now.. yesterday it started doing it again...
This time if i stopped the car would shake and jump when i would hit the gas... my dad has told me it might be the fuel pump.. the car just starts jumping.. but i put a GUMOUT fuel system cleaner and then it started running good again.. i think it might be a fuel problem..
fuel pump possibly???... the car starts.. the car accerelates on park and then it stops and it shuts off..
anyone can shed some light on this issue its nagging..

Well, firstly, test your fuel pump. Second, you may have something wrong with your pickup screen in your fuel tank and/or sediment build up in your tank. That would probably only be likely if: a) the car sat for a long period of time (months or years), and/or b) you frequently ran out of gas with the car.
Let's assume the fuel tests good. Then, you have to check engine codes and check the electrical/spark portion of your car. It is not an easy fix necessarily or an easy process to track the problem down.
