hi everyone, well, i was wanting to put maybe some 18 inch rims on my car, but i'm worried that maybe they wouldn't fit, will 18's fit a 97 tc? also, if they do fit, will they mess with the air ride or throw off one of the sensors? will it affect the speedometer (wrong/faster/slower display speed than actual speed) and could it mess up the transmission? i've heard of people putting smaller wheels on there cars (13's or 14's) and there miles go up quicker and they put stress on the trans. if i put 18's on my car will it cause any of those issues (mainly affecting speed/mileage) ? thanks, sincerely, jason

The rim size doesn’t matter as long as you keep the outside tire diameter the same. SOOOOOOO This means if your stock wheel size is 225/60/R16 you could go with and 18" rim and a 275/40/R18 tire. This will only through off your speedo 0.1% when your speedo show 60mph your true speed will be 60.1mph.
