Revell Audi R8

Does anyone know when Revell plans on releasing the Audi R8 Model?

Yeah, I know what you mean. But the prices are even cheaper when they hit the stores here in Taiwan... ei: Enzo MSRP: 53us.. price bought 27us and that's not an 'on sale' price... HLJ list price 32.60... I don't have any revel kits off the shelf, so I can't compare the prices.

US retail on the R8 is going to be $27.00. Anyone buying anything non-Japanese from HLJ isn't doing their homework :wink: Revell USA will likely offer it later, and then it will be less than $20 retail.

hopefully they'll announce it at the ihobby expo this weekend. if not. i'll just order a Revell AG one. I don't have the patience to wait a few more months for one. I want an R8 bad

i'll take one also!

I'll buy a RoG one to build right away, and then buy a bunch of them when they're cheaper and here in the States. It'll be fun to play around with this kit, chop the roof off and stuff, when I get the $20 kits.

Was wondering, are there any glaring problems with the revell kit? Thinking of picking one up.

Yes, the chassis don't fit correctly.

But you can fix this with some sanding and superglue.

I was at the Hobby Shop last night and they had a Revel Germany one for $26 CDN. So my guess would be a few bucks cheaper in the US. Most kits sold in Canada tend to be about $5 more then the US market, generally speaking.

This kit was 16 Euro's in Holland
