Metra GMRC02 harness

I am looking for a used Metra GMRC02 radio harness for my 03 silverado. Does anybody have one for sale? How about a cheap place to buy one?

call either crutchfield or sound domain...your local circuit city should carry one also

Try EBAY, bought mine for under 50 bucks.

Is Metra the best or does it matter which brand? I did an ebay search and didn't find one.

You need the one VT-GMRC-01 not the 02. The 01 is for first generation RDS system in the 03 thru 05. VT-GMRC-02 is for the second generation RDS system like in the 06 and up.

METRA is the most reliable based on several install shops in my area, Houston-Pasadena, TX.

I thought they were the same only the 02 sounds the chimes thru the speakers and the 01 has it's own speaker? A local shop said the 02 is the one they would use.
