keyless remote program 1997 century, help?

just bought my first buick, whoa!!! after 35 years...anyway i need to program a new remote for a 1997 buick century. any help? also, for all you buick owners what the strengths and weaknesses of this model? thanks a bunch

Are you sure your car has keyless entry, it was an option on your model. Check the SPID (Service Parts IDentification) label in the trunk for the code AUO, which is the one for remote keyless entry. If you can't find the sticker, you could also get the last 8-digits of your VIN # and send me a PM (click on my screen name and select "Send private message" from the drop down list) and I can tell you if it has it. Please don't post your VIN in and open forum for all to see.
