I was thinking about buying this 2000 ford taurus and i was wondering what do all the model numbers mean like the ses? If someone could help me that would be great thanks!

For that year I believe the 3 models were Taurus SE, SES, SEL. I have an SES which is a mid trim level. SEL is the highest trim level. I believe SEL comes std with leather, SES leather is optional. I don't know what all gthe various options are as you move up the line. If you're looking at an SEL though, you can be assured it's pretty loaded. I like my SES a lot.
