Gas Gauge Broken

What are some generic reasons why a gas gauge would point to full the whole time until you run out of gas?

there aren't many reasons other than it is either stuck in the full position in the gas tank or your guage is bad

Almost always if its stuck on full its a ground problem. There should be a wire coming from the sender that goes to ground right near the tank. Check it.

Usually stuck on E means its not getting power. Stuck on F means its not getting ground.
