wheres a good place to ground my new colored gauges too?

try a metal piece somewhere hidden behind the dash... or tap another wire that's already a ground.

There is a great ground on the corner of the fuse panel, just undo the bolt and put a ring terminal under it, then tighten it back on. Guaranteed not to come off, unless you suck at connectors. The gauges on my crx were like that and now so are my hatch's.
