2002 Odyssey transmission question

I've read most if not all threads on this topic but I still have a question.
I bought mine used from my brother who bought it new. It has 94K miles on it and the transmission is slipping. I see that there was a recall in 2004. I've also read where someone indicated that the tranny might be covered under warranty up to 100,000 miles. I'm not sure on that point because I'm not sure that thread confirmed that point.
I assume this vehicle came with the original 3 year 35,000 warranty. Are dealers repairing or replacing these transmissions at little or no cost to the owners for problems in this transmission when the vehicle has exceeded the original warranty? Again, I'm only assuming the warranty expires after 35k miles.
If I have to replace or repair the transmisson it looks like (from other posts) that I can expect to pay anywhere from $3500 to $5000 from a dealer. One thread indicated that a person was able to get theirs rebuilt for $1200. Will a rebuild like that get me another 20,000 miles out of the van?

I bouht my 2000 Odyssey from a Honda dealer and it had 92K miles on it in 2005.
A couple of months later the transmission gave out. It was undrivable. The dealer replaced the trans. They even came and got it to take to the shop.
I didn't have to pay anything for the fix
I don't see why they wouldn't replace yours also. It should be still covered by the 100K warranty.
