93 grand am 3.1 , reinstalled factory head unit and installed a toggle switch from my battery to my cooling fan with ground to body, i had a good wiring diagram and it worked perfect, only thing that didnt is dimmer switch did nothing but my dash lights did not work before hand, went for a ride and after 5-10 min stereo light up, trouble lights came on then went off, but so did the head/park lights. brake lights and turn signals worked . Is there a bare wire i missed is this toggle switch messing things up? This is why my dad always told me to fix 1 thing at a time. Never had any problem before any direction would be greatly appreciated thank u all!

I have magicaly merged your threads.
Thiers no reason to start another on the same topic.

I would check the battery, sounds like its low, or about dead. Should be at least 12.4 volts.
Also make sure the connections are clean and tight.
