Small Coolant Leak

Hi, i have a 2001 Silhouette. It seems almost every time we pull it in the garage, when you take it back out in the morning, there is a drop or two of coolant under it. I decided tonight to track it back. It seems to be drizzling down the engine (you can't actually see it, but trails of where it has been.), by what I think is the coolant temperature sensor, or at least in that area. The sensor itself does not seem to be leaking, but if you sniff the area when hot, you can smell coolant (sweet smell). What else in that area could leak? one of the coolant houses connects right there, but it is clean. I did take out the sensor, cleaned the threads, reapplied blue sealant, and replaced it. Also, one thing I noticed, the drops are thicker and more orange than normal I thought it felt somewhat oily, but I know it isn't oil, because it dries on the floor, and leaves a white residue. I am pretty sure its not the tranny, as its fluid is darker, and power steering is different too. I am kind of at a loss on what it could be. Possibly the sensor is still leaking?!:runaround:
Thanks

You have the 3.4L engine, which is known the intake leaks.. If you cannot locate the leak just by having the engine running, then you may need to stick a coolant pressure tester on it.

looking at the front of the car with the hood open, the first 1/3rd of the right side is where the heater hoses go inside the firewall along with the refrigeration lines from the air conditioner. There are two factory spring clips on those hoses. could be one of them is leaking. I changed my starter drive about a year ago and saw what looked like coolant on the old starter and wires. could be dripping from there.
